The TECtemp HT consists of a fixed injection nozzle assembly combined with a control unit. The individual connection of each injection nozzle with the control unit enables the individual control of each injection nozzle. The system provides extremely accurate temperature control with the highest turndown ratio and is mainly used for service temperatures up to 730 °C. The circumferential positioning of the injection lances guarantees lowest residual pressure drop. With no moving parts located in the heat-affected zones, the risk of damage from fretting or thermal cracking is eliminated.
The tight shut-off is achieved in the control unit. Individual injection nozzle control is provided by a 90° movement of the inner stem. Metal-to-metal ball/seat design with lowest risk of leakages and longest lifetime. Perfect water spray with smallest water droplets by constant pressure difference at injection nozzles over the entire control range. Optimised nozzle opening sequence for perfect water distribution and optimal evaporation conditions.
